The ongoing nature of COVID-19 has continued to cause delays in the technical program, however, as suppliers reopen progress is now being made.

TurbAero has been fortunate enough to host three industry placement engineering students from local universities over the past quarter.

Calendar Q3, 2020 has seen continued intense technical activity and we are pleased with how the program is progressing. The results of our analyses of the final designs for many components are indicating that our targets should be met.
Design and Technical Update June 2020
Q2, 2020 has seen continued activity in the development and procurement of the ancillary equipment for the engine, along with progress being made to further refine and improve the recuperator.
June 2020 CEO Update
The net impact of COVID-19 on suppliers has caused a delay of approximately six-months, moving our target to have our prototype’s first run on the test stand to year-end 2020. However, progress has been made in our technical development program.
Airshow Attendance 2020
We look forward to being able to exhibit at airshows in the future, once travel restrictions allow.

We’ve been making significant progress during the first quarter of 2020 as we transition into the prototyping and testing phase of our development program and this is testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.
Visit from Leap Australia
In February, TurbAero had a visit from Leap Australia to capture vision of our team using ANSYS simulation software.

Our key focus for calendar Q4, 2019 and Q1, 2020 continued to be completing the detailed design of the launch engine. We are very pleased to be extremely close to achieving that milestone.
