TurbAero has had the opportunity to provide work and industry placement experience to three engineering students from local universities including the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia. These students were all excited to be offered the opportunity to participate in TurbAero activities and have proven themselves to be of a very high calibre, particularly in terms of their ability to learn and their enthusiasm for the work that they are doing. There are certainly some potential future TurbAero engineers amongst them.
One activity being undertaken by one of the students is a trial integration of the engine into a typical recipient aircraft. The above image is a screenshot from that project. Once this integration project is finished we will include the results on our website to demonstrate a TurbAero turboprop engine installation into a typical 4-seater aircraft.
